I want to begin this article by debunking a major lie of this world and it is this …

‘Ignorance is bliss!’

Well, I am here to tell you today that ignorance is not bliss!

Our scriptures clearly tell us that “people are destroyed for lack of da’ath” (Hosea 4:6)

This word da’ath (H1847) translates to knowledge, ignorance.

People perish for ignorance!! There is no bliss in that!

This is why we are required to study to show ourselves approved (2 Timothy 2:15).

In today’s article I am going to present the Name of the Heavenly Father and we are going to demolish the pots of ignorance for anyone who is still feeding on it.

Since I have become a follower of The Way and have embraced the reverence of the Heavenly Father by His Name, I am appalled by the vast multitude of persons who profess to love the Creator, but make some of the following comments:

• It doesn’t matter what we call him

• He hears us, no matter what we call him

• The name is not important, it’s our relationship with him

• People who are hot about the name are in a cult

This sheer level of ignorance is so sad because unfortunately such persons have not or never been taught by their shepherds to give the reverence, respect and honour that our Heavenly Father deserves.

Especially considering ONE HARD FACT amongst many others, that it is HIS VERY NAME that will be written on the foreheads of the overcomers – those that are His sons and daughters (Rev 3:12; Rev 22:4).

I PRAISE the Heavenly Father with all my heart, because today, he is restoring His Name to the people that are diligently seeking him and are returning to the ancient path.

There is POWER in His Name!!!

Here are just a few verses out of many which proves this:

• Your safety is found in His Name!!! - The Name of Yahuah is a strong tower; the righteous RUN INTO IT and are safe” (Proverbs 18:10).

• Special deliverance because you love Abba Yahuah and knows His Name - “because he has set his love upon me, therefore will I deliver him: I will set him on high, because he has known my Name. He shall call upon me, and I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble: I will deliver him and honor him” (Ps 91:14-15) – those who have come to know the Heavenly Father’s Name are those who truly love Him and because they know his Name and honour Him, he will set them on high; he will deliver them whenever they call.

• Esteem (glory) is due unto His Name - “Not unto us, O Yahuah, not unto us, but unto your Name give esteem, for your mercy and for your truth’s sake” (Ps 115:1) – we do not, nor should we seek any esteem for ourselves. Our desire should be to give esteem unto his qodesh (called out/ set apart) Name! Because His Name in itself is a Name of esteem!!

• His people knows His Name and he hears them - “And I will bring the third part through the fire, and will refine them as silver is refined, and will try them as gold is tried: they shall call on my Name and I will hear them: I will say: It is my people and they shall say, Yahuah Elohai” (Zech 13:9) – the people that are indeed His people, are the ones who will be humble to cling to Yahuah; even through the refiner’s fire and to call on His Name!

• Even the Mashiach (Messiah) came in His Father’s Name - “I come in My Father’s Name and ye receive me not: if another shall come in his own name, him ye will receive” (John 5:43). The Ben (Son)/ Mashaich (Messiah) did not come in His Own Name. Nor did He come in a name that was given by man – Jesus is a name that has been given by man.  (Neither is there yeshu'ah (salvation) in any other: for there is no other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. Ma'asiym (Acts) 4:12 ).  There is ONLY SALVATION in the Name that was given to the Messiah, which is also the Father’s Name.  Where is the Father’s Name in Jesus??

Here’s further proof – “And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to you, Qodesh Father, guard them by your name, the same name which you have given me, that they may be Yachad (one) as we are. Yochanon (John) 17:7-11. Our Mashiach was not given a name pronounced by man, but was so named by the Father.  He came with the SAME NAME!! Yahuah (Yah who adds breath or life) is Yahusha (Yah who adds deliverance or salvation).   OUR MESSIAH WAS GIVEN A NAME OF POWER AND DELIVERANCE – WHICH IS THE FATHER’S NAME.  I’m sure you’re beginning to see the grave error by those who think that the Father’s Name is not important.  Repent right now if this has ever been your thought!!

• Yahuah’s Name was on His People Yashar’el (Israel) - “And Yahuah spoke unto Mosheh, saying: Speak unto El-Aharon and unto his sons, saying: On this wise ye shall bless the children of Yashar'el, saying unto them, Yahuah bless you, and guard you: Yahuah make his face shine upon you, and be gracious unto you: Yahuah lift up his countenance upon you, and give you peace. And they shall put my Name upon the children of Yashar'el; and I will bless them. Bemidbar (Numbers) 6:22-27 – Yahuah even commanded that His Name be on His people and this was not figuratively. This was literally!!

Here are some examples of His Name on His people Yahshar’el (Israel):

Following this, we will then break down His Name to show why His Name is Yahuah!

Yirmeyahu – Yahuah will rise

Yeshayahu – Yahuah saves

Gadolyahu – Yahuah has become great

Tsidqiyahu – Right of Yahuah

Shelemyahu - Ally of Yahuah

Malkiyahu – King appointed by Yahuah

Konyahu – Yahuah will establish

Tsephanyahu – Yahuah has secreted

Neriyahu – Light of Yahuah

Yo’shiyahu – Founded of Yahuah

And of course, the list goes on.  The Translators of our English scriptures have removed all the Hebrew essence; they have replaced their true names with heathen European alternatives.

You see the wicked pagans hijacked the Hebrew scriptures and removed the Hebrew essence of it all – they removed all of their Hebrew names and replaced it with European names to fit their European culture.

They removed the Heavenly Father’s Name from His scriptures over 6000 times and rendered it as God or LORD.  These titles are pagan and unclean.

But, Yahuah is the Hebrew Aluah (Mighty One) and His people are the Hebrew people and a door has been provided by his Ben (Son), Yahusha, for the gentiles also to be grafted in and for all of us to be ONE in Mashiach (Messiah). 

It really puzzles me that so many claim that the scriptures are their foundation of truth, but then turn around and argue with you or outright reject you, when you share this very Truth with them, out of the very scriptures.

Let us dive into a few scriptures to discover what the Heavenly Father thinks about His Own Name!

What the Heavenly Father, Abba Yahuah thinks of His Own Name

I want to first invite you to read Exodus 33, verse 9 to 23 and pay particular attention to Mosheh (Moses’) request and Yahuah’s response.

“Now therefore, I pray you, if I have found grace in your sight, show me now your way, that I may know you, that I may find grace in your sight: and consider that this nation is your people. Shemoth (Exodus) 33:13

Now, study Yahuah’s response in verse 19 and how he uses illeism.  This is where someone is speaking of themselves in the 3^rd person.

“And he said, I will make all my goodness pass before you, and I will proclaim the Name of Yahuah before you; and will be gracious to whom I will be gracious and will show mercy on whom I will show mercy” Shemoth (Exodus) 33:19

Now, turn to Exodus 34 and read verse 1 to 8. Beautiful and powerful indeed!

Let’s take a look at verse 5 to 8.

“And Yahuah descended in the cloud, and stood with him there, and proclaimed the name of Yahuah. And Yahuah passed by before him, and proclaimed, Yahuah, Yahuah El, merciful and gracious, longsuffering, and abundant in goodness and truth, Keeping mercy for thousands, forgiving iniquity and transgression and sin, and that will by no means clear the guilty, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, and upon the children's children, unto the third and to the fourth generation. And Mosheh made haste, and bowed his head toward the earth, and worshipped. Shemoth (Exodus) 34:5-8

What did Yahuah do when he passed before Mosheh?

What did he proclaim?

He proclaimed His own Name!!! Barak (Bless) Yahuah!!

I urge you to consider this fact, which emerged clearly from our scriptures - Yahuah proclaimed HIS OWN Name!

Is that a light and insignificant matter? 

Unfortunately, some has been made to place the tithes, Sun-day Mass, the church’s Christmas show or the Blood Bunny Celebrations to be of more significance.

However, the time has come to open our eyes and really see the truth!!

The Online Collins Dictionary defines proclaim as: to announce something publicly or officially; it can also mean to ‘praise or extol’

Wow!

So, Yahuah publicly declared HIS NAME and EXTOLLED it!!!!

Shouldn’t we the creature, humble ourselves and also praise and extol the Name of the Heavenly Father?

I believe that the answer to that question is obvious.

Let us dive into another scripture, which is our foundation of Truth.

“I am Yahuah: that is my name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images”. Yesha'yahu (Isaiah) 42:8

Here, Yahuah is again proclaiming and declaring His Name and letting us know that he will not give esteem (glory) to any other!

The Name of the Heavenly Father

Several renditions have been provided of the Heavenly Father’s Name. 

This article is not about starting a debate, but to present clear and simple facts for those who are really interested in putting away the pagan and unclean titles and growing in their love and reverence of Him.

The Heavenly Father has both a shortened and a long form of His Name.

The Shortened Form of His Name

You can find the shortened form of His Name in Psalm 68:4.

Sing unto Elohiym, sing praises to his name: extol him that rides upon the heavens by his name Yah, and rejoice before him. Tehilliym (Psalms) 68:4-7

It is not Jah as you would see in your current English translations. ‘J’ was the last letter added to the English alphabet in the 1500s.

There are some who make the lazy excuse that they ‘speak English’.

Did you know that you are speaking Hebrew every time you say ‘Hallelujah’ which should be spelled ‘HalleluYah’?

It comes from the ancient Hebrew HallaluYah and modern Hebrew (HalleluYah). 

What is called Modern Hebrew is really Aramaic and not true Hebrew. However, that discussion is for another article.

HalleluYah means Praise Added to Yah!!!!

Now, let us examine the long form of His Name by going back to the ancient script.

The Long Form of His Name

The name of our Heavenly Father has been rendered in Latin as YHUH (some write YHWH in error) from the ancient paleo Hebrew (earlier pictograph script):

This script is read from right to left - as it is read, the meaning comes to light:

1. Yod: Arm and hand
2. Hey: Behold, man with arms and hands raised
3. Vav: Nail, peg, secure
4. Hey: Behold, man with arms and hands raised

In the Father’s VERY Name from this ancient paleo Hebrew Script is the prophecy of the Messiah. 

DO NOTE that our scriptures were written in paleo Hebrew.  The Father’s Name can also been seen as written below. Again, it is read from right to left.

This is a yod/yad  - Y – pronounced - ‘Y’

This is a hey – H – pronounced - H, Ah (as in Yah)

This is an uau – UUUW – pronounced - o/u/ (as in Ruach)

This is a hey – H – pronounced - H, ah (as in Yah)

When the sounds are put together, you get …

Y-A-H-U-A-H

Yahuah means Yah who adds life/breath!

There are some in mainstream Christianity who argue that he has many names.

I can confidently assure you that this is great error.

Does the Heavenly Father have many names?

Now, I am going to prove to you, using ONLY our beloved scriptures that those who profess that the Creator has many names are spreading deception and error.

I want to invite you to read the 3^rd Commandment.

You shall not bring the Name of Yahuah Elohayka to naught; for Yahuah will not hold him guiltless את that brings his name to naught. Shemoth (Exodus) 20:7

What does the third commandment say?

Did it say singular Name or plural - names?

Do NOT bring His Name to naught.

He has One NAME but many attributes.

• YAHUAH MEKODDISHKEM (Yahuah Who Sanctifies You)

• YAHUAH NISSI (Yahuah My Banner)

• YAHUAH RAAH (Yahuah My Shepherd)

• YAHUAH RAPHA (Yahuah Heals)

• YAHUAH SHAMMAH (Yahuah Is There)

• YAHUAH TSEVA’OTH (Yahuah of Hosts)

• YAHUAH SHALUM (Yahuah Is Peace)

• YAHUAH TSIDKENU (Yahuah Our Righteousness)

• YAHUAH OSENU (Yahuah Our Maker)

• YAHUAH YIREH (Yahuah Will Provide)

And the list goes on!!

Let us take a pause and just exalt the Name of Yahuah, for His Name Alone is excellent!!

Some have rendered his Name as Jehovah and others as Yahweh. 

However, the following letters are not found in the paleo Hebrew alphabet.

E, F, I, J, O, V, W

These sounds were achieved by adding vowel points (various dots and dashes) to the Hebrew letters by the Masoretes, sometime around A.D. 700 – 1000.  The Masoretes were very much interested in adding all these niqqud marks in an effort to hide the Name. 

This is why his name cannot be:

Yahweh Or Jehovah

For centuries upon centuries, we have been deliberately misled by those who do not want us to be saying the Name.

It is in an effort to uphold the ineffable name doctrine.

That is, the belief that his name is too qodesh (set apart/holy) to pronounce.

That is a doctrine of men and not of Yahuah!

However, it goes deeper than this.  I explore in this article HERE how Yahuah first decided to preserve His Own Name!

Another crucial point that that I want to leave you with is this: when we do not give reverence and honour to His Name, we are actually breaking the 3^rd commandment.

You shall not bring the name of Yahuah Elohayka to naught; for Yahuah will not hold him guiltless את that brings his name to naught. Shemoth (Exodus) 20:7

In some translations, you would see to not take his Name in vain.

This comes from the Hebrew word sho’ah (H7722) meaning desolation, destruction or waste.

Sho’ah comes from H7723 which means useless, vain or ruin

The Hebrew word which translators translate as vain comes from - shin-uau-alef: sh-u-a or more commonly expressed as sho’ah. White (2017) explains that to destroy, omit, miss, obfuscate, circumlocute, substitute, shun, ignore, deny, change, ruin, lay waste is what sho’ah really means.

The translators of our scriptures made a grave error to replace His Name and so bring it to sho’ah – nothingness, uselessness, waste or ruin; even more sop, by inserting unclean substitute titles.

They have caused us also to ignorantly break the commandment each time we utilize those replacement titles, which are unclean and not qodesh, to call on the Heavenly Father.

The time is now for ‘teshuvah’- REPENTANCE

If you have fallen victim to this deceit … I encourage you to go into repentance before the Heavenly Father and to never go back to those unclean titles again!!

The onus is on you to make the firm decision to reverence, respect and honour the Heavenly Father out of increasing love for Him.
