So will not we go back from you: quicken us, and we will call upon your Name. Tehilliym (Psalms) 80:18

Because I will publish the Name of Yahuah: ascribe ye greatness unto our Aluah. Devariym (Deuteronomy) 32:3

Give unto Yahuah the esteem due unto his Name: bring an offering and come into his courts. Tehilliym (Psalms) 96:8

It is a good thing to give thanks unto Yahuah, and to sing praises unto your Name, O El Elyon. Tehilliym (Psalms) 92:1

And I have declared unto them your Name and will declare it: that the love wherewith you have loved me may be in them, and I in them. Yochanon (John) 17:26

The scriptures above are just a few out of many, instructing his people to bring ESTEEM to His Name, CALL on His Name, DECLARE His Name, BARAK his Name, SING praises to His Name and to PUBLISH his Name.

You have also heard from the mouth of three witnesses, and based on the Torah, that at the mouth of two or three witnesses, the thing is established (Deut 19:15).

Since the Word of Yahuah is our guide, let us now proceed to call on the Name of Yahuah and do what is commanded of us.

This is obedience to His Word!

In this article, you will identify both the shortened form and the long form of His Name. To do this, we are going to refer to the Strong’s Concordance. You can also refer to the BlueLetter Bible.

I am inserting a list of almost fifty (50) scriptures here. However, we will examine TEN of them, and you can explore the rest on your own time.  But, they all have one thing in common, and that is, the shortened Name of the Creator of Heaven and Earth.

The Name ‘Yah’ stands alone 45 times in the scriptures.

Ex 15:2; 17:16; Isaiah 12:2; 26:4; 38:11; Psalms 68:4; 68:18, 77:11; 89:8; 94:7; 94:12; 102:18; 105:45; 106:1; 106:48; 111:1; 112:1; 113:1; 113:9; 115:17;; 115:18; 116:19: 117:2; 118:5; 118:14:118:17; 118:18: 118:19; 122:4: 130:3; 135:1; 135:3; 135:4; 135:21: 146:1; 146:10; 147:1; 147:20; 148:1; 148:14: 149:1; 149:9; 150:1; 150:6

Now, before we dive into this, there are TWO essential point to highlight.

Firstly, the so-called Hebrew that is found in your concordance and that is being used to day is actually Aramaic. 

When the Yahudym (Jews) came out of Babylon, they also came out with the Babylonian script which included the use of vowel points. Today, that script is referred to as modern Hebrew. However, when you examine the writings of the scrolls which came out of the Kumran Cave, you will discover that there are no vowel points in use.

Secondly, it is also important to understand that the letter ‘J’ was the last letter that was added to the Latin alphabet. 

Did you know that our so-called English Alphabet is actually Latin?

The letter J found its own place in the Latin/English alphabet around 1524. 

This was due to the work by Gian Giorgio Trissino.  It is interesting to note that Gian was a prominent Italian Renaissance humanist, poet and diplomat.  A Humanist is a secular person who believes in human agency, reason and ethics shape and give meaning to people’s lives.  They reject religion or any belief in a higher power.

Now, let us explore the shortened form of the Name of our Creator through our very scriptures.

Then Mosheh and the children of Yashar'el sang this song unto Yahuah, and spoke, saying: I will sing unto Yahuah, for he has triumphed gloriously: the horse and his rider has he thrown into the sea. Yah is my strength and song, and he is become my yeshu'ah: he is my AL, and I will prepare him a habitation; my father's Elohai, and I will exalt him. Shemoth (Exodus) 15:1-2

For he said: Because Yah has sworn that Yahuah will have war with Amaleq from generation to generation. Shemoth (Exodus) 17:16 

Behold, AL is my yeshu'ah; I will trust, and not be afraid: for Yah Yahuah is my strength and my song; he also is become my yeshu'ah (salvation). Yesha'yahu (Isaiah) 12:2

I said, I shall not see Yah, even Yah, in the land of the living: I shall behold man no more with the inhabitants of the world. Yesha'yahu (Isaiah) 38:11

Baruk (Blessed) is the man whom you chasten, O Yah, and teach him out of your Torah; Tehilliym (Psalms) 94:12

This shall be written for the generation to come: and the people which shall be created shall praise Yah. Tehilliym (Psalms) 102:18 

That they might keep his statutes and guard his Torah. Halleluyah. Tehilliym (Psalms) 105:45

Yah has chastened me sore: but he has not given me over unto death. Tehilliym (Psalms) 118:18

Halleluyah. Hallelu-ALin his sanctuary: praise him in the expanse of his power. Tehilliym (Psalms) 150:1

Let everything that has breath praise Yah. Halleluyah (Praise be to Yah) . Tehilliym (Psalms) 150:6

This evidence shows that wherever you saw the usage ‘LORD’, it corresponds to H3050 in your Strong’s concordance has a transliteration of ‘Yâhh.  Some transliterations spells it Yâw.  It is the same pronounciation - YAH

What is a transliteration?

A transliteration is simply writing the sound of a word from one language using the characters of another language, so that it retains the same sound.

So, the shortened form of the Creator’s Name is Yah.

However, there is a notable error in your concordance as well.

You will see indicated that the KJV’s renditions of the Hebrew Yah is Jah.

However, there is no ‘J’ in the Ancient Hebrew Alphabet.

Additionally, the letter ‘J’ was the last letter to be added to the Latin Alphabet, and the Latin Alphabet also serves as the English Alphabet.

This was added in 1524 by Gian Giorgio Trissino, an Italian Renaissance grammarian who is also known as the father of the letter J.

Using discernment, we can see clearly the error with the KJV usage of JAH.

Simply because a transliteration of a word is the pronunciation of a foreign word in another language where it has retained the same sound. 

The Divine Name of the Creator is ‘Yâhh (YAH) and not Jah.

The Full Name

Before we dive into identifying the Creator’s full name, we need to acknowledge the phonological shift which took place from Yahu to ‘Yo’ or yeho - as all such words in your concordance is now rendered as yeho, whearas they were Yahu in origin.

The Paleo Hebrew script for the divine Name has commonly been rendered using four LATIN LETTERS. REMEMBER OUR SO CALLED ENGLISH ALPHABET IS REALLY LATIN.  IT IS A LATIN ALPHABET THAT WE USE TO MAKE ENGLISH WORDS.

Those FOUR LATIN letters is referred to as the Tetragrammaton.

Now, the Tetragrammaton is Greek and it simply means ‘Four Letters’.  Tetra means ‘four’ and grammaton ‘letters’. But those Four Letters can be pronounced.

No longer are we going to hide and uphold the ineffable Name Doctrine.  This is the doctrine given by man which states that the Heavenly Father’s Name is too Qodesh (Holy) to be pronounced.  Is such a doctrine stated in our scriptures?

It is an emphatical NO!

Though, we do know that because of the sins of our ancestors, that Yahuah removed his Name from the men of Yahudah (Judah) and hence, that declaration went forth and the end result has been centuries of the ineffable Name doctrine being played out.  But that was a curse!!

Therefore hear ye the Word of Yahuah, all Yahudah that dwell in the land of Mitsrayim; Behold, I have sworn seven oaths by my great name, says Yahuah, that my name shall no more be named in the mouth of any man of Yahudah in all the land of Mitsrayim, saying: Adonai Yahuah lives. Yirmeyahu (Jeremiah) 44:26 

Today, Yahuah is restoring His Name and those who seek Him will be found of Him! Halleluyah!

And I will strengthen them in Yahuah; and they shall walk up and down in his Name, says Yahuah. Zakaryahu (Zechariah) 10:12 

Now, let’s uncover the Full Name of the Creator of Heaven and Earth.

The Tetragrammaton

In some instances, you will see the Tetragrammaton as YHVH or YHWH.

However, the following letters are not found in the paleo Hebrew alphabet.

E, F, I, J, O, V, W

You may also see the THIRD letter from the left in the paleo hebrew script - represented as a vav or waw but this is due to a shift in ancient Hebrew to modern Hebrew so called. The Modern Herbrew is really Aramaic.

The Masoretes, added vowel points (various dots and dashes) to the Hebrew letters sometime around A.D. 700 – 1000. You can see the close similarity when you examine the Aramaic Script.

Since ancient Hebrew DOES NOT have the following letters:

E, F, I, J, O, V, W

We know that transliteration of his name cannot be:

Yahweh

Or

Jehovah

Let us now read the Paleo Hebrew script for the divine Name

Let's examine something interesting!

If we were to drop the daleth ‘d’ – what do we get?

YAHUAH

This simply means Praises Be to Yahuah!!

Now, it is up to you to fall on your knees in SUBMISSION and OBEDIENCE and call on the Heavenly Father’s Divine Name.

I encourage you to not choose tradition and continue to use those unclean and unworthy titles.

Men in the Parliament of the United Kingdom are Lords. 

The Children of Israel worshipped Lords – Ba’aliym.

And the worst of all, ‘God’ is an unclean word which they have taken and Christianized.

In origin, it means a ‘spirit in a burial mound’. It has also been connected to Zeus.

I want to leave with some scriptures which command obedience.

Therefore, my people shall know my Name: therefore, they shall know in that day that I am he who speaks: behold, it is I. Yesha'yahu (Isaiah) 52:6 

I am Yahuah: that is my Name: and my glory will I not give to another, neither my praise to graven images. Yesha'yahu (Isaiah) 42:8 

O give thanks unto Yahuah; call upon his Name: make known his deeds among the people. Tehilliym (Psalms) 105:1 

And they that know your Name will put their trust in you: for you, Yahuah, have not forsaken them that seek you. Tehilliym (Psalms) 9:10 

I want to also highlight that Yahuah has a special barakah (blessing) for those who reverence him and think upon his Name.

Then shall those who revere ‎Yahuah speak to one another, and ‎ Yahuah listen and hear, and a book of remembrance be written before Him, of those who revere ‎ Yahuah, and those who think upon His Name.

And they shall be Mine, said Yahuah of hosts, on the day that I prepare a treasured possession. And I shall spare them as a man spares his own son who serves him.

Then you shall again see between the righteous and the wicked, between one who serves Elohim and one who does not serve Him. MAL’AḴI (Malachi) 3:16-18

There is also a curse for those who will not lay it to heart to give esteem to His Name.  Yahuah placed this curse on the priests of our ancestors, who refused to lay it to heart.

And now, O ye priests, this commandment is for you. If ye will not hear, and if ye will not lay it to heart, to give glory unto my Name, says Yahuah Tseva'oth, I will even send a curse upon you, and I will curse your blessings: yea, I have cursed them already, because ye do not lay it to heart. Mal`akiy (Malachi) 2:1-2 

Are we not also Priests of Yahuah today under the Malkiy-Tsedek Priesthood?

Shouldn't the OBEDIENT PRIEST call upon the Name of HIS Mighty One?

The Levitical Priests were commanded to minister in his Name.

For Yahuah Elohayka has chosen him out of all your tribes, to stand to minister in the Name of Yahuah, him and his sons forever. Devariym (Deuteronomy) 18:5 

All the other false religions call upon the name of their false deities that have no power!!

Let us be counted as those in the Church of Philadelphia which has not denied His Name.

For it is only a foolish people that will despise His Name.

Remember this: the enemy has reproached ‎Yahuah, And a foolish people has despised Your Name (Psalm 74:18)

Let’s close on a final beautiful scripture which is a promise for those who love his Name.

Also the sons of the stranger, that join themselves to Yahuah, to serve him, and to love the name of Yahuah, to be his servants, everyone that guards the Shabbat from polluting it, and takes hold of my covenant; Even them will I bring to my holy mountain, and make them joyful in my house of prayer: their ascending smoke offerings and their sacrifices shall be accepted upon my altar; for my house shall be called a house of prayer for all people. Yesha'yahu (Isaiah) 56:6-7

Calling on the Name of the Creator of Heaven and Earth takes true submission.

It demands a breaking free from the traditions of men and making that decision to OBEY HIS VERY WORD.

Now the Truth has come to you, be very careful what you decide to do with it, for every man will be held accountable before our Aluah (Mighty One).
